Guitner Road is closed at the Conocheague Creek bridge. For 6028 Guitner and

numbers lower: use Stonebridge to Coldsmith and Guitner; Higher numbers: use

normal travel routes.

Clay Hill Road at Interstate 81

The bridge on Clay Hill Rd over I-81 will be closed

on March 1st for approximately 3 months (May 31st)

ASSISTANCE IS NEEDED!!

 

 Help is needed for Fundraising Events - especially Friday night Bingos!!!

If you can spare an evening of your time, stop by the Special Events Center and lend

a helping hand. Work the floor of help in the kitchen - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, as we'll provide the training. Doors open at 5:30 pm each week.

UP COMING TRAINING

 

RHC is hosting a VFIS-sponsored patient handling class on March 23, 2010. 

There will be two classes- one at 1200 hours and one at 1800 (need to attend just one).  This course is free for any RHC member, and receives (3) Con-Ed credits. 

You must register on line, see an EMS Officer for instructions or other details.

 

Numerous training opportunities are posted on the Bulletin Board. Please review and sign-up.. make training a 2010 priority.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

Check the station boards for training announcements and upcoming events. 

The second Saturday and fourth Wednesday of each month are training dates , subject instructor requirements, weather, or last minute changes. Additionally, local courses and building familiarizations will be posted when arrangements are finalized

Details to follow here and at the station!

 

Stop in and participate in the Operations classes being held weekly, for new and

seasoned members, on Thursday evening - Class time is 1900 hrs.

No matter if its' new or a review, this program

benefits EVERYONE. Hope to see you there!!

Come out to the Special Events Center - located at 407 South Washington Street, Greencastle - every Friday night for Bingo.

The doors open for this department fundraiser at 5:30 pm every Friday night and the games start at 6:45 pm... and bring your Bingo appetite, as the kitchen opens at 5:30 pm also and the crews offer a wide variety of great food at reasonable prices.

Come out and visit with your friends and neighbors, while supporting YOUR volunteer fire and emergency medical services department.
