04/20/2023- 1203 hours: RHC, Washington County Company 13 and PM 75-9 responded to Interstate 81 northbound in the area of mile marker 1 for a motor vehicle accident. Crews encountered stopped traffic in both travel lanes due to maintenance, delaying arrival. Once on scene, personnel confirmed one flatbed tractor-trailer off the roadway and mitigated a hydraulic fluid leak from an onboard container. Fire Police maintained lane control during the incident. With no other hazards, EMS obtained transport refusals and units cleared in thirty-five minutes.
