05/02/2026: This weekend is the Fallen Firefighter Memorial held at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation-led program will honor 204 firefighters (97 from 2025 and 107 from previous years), recognize their sacrifice and support the families and friends left behind. 04/25/2026: This Saturday will be the lastest Honor Flight return to Greencastle from their day in Washington, DC. Join us in showing suppprt and appreciation for all they have done for us by lining South Washington Street from the fire station to the Greencastle VFW. Arrival time is scheduled for 1800 hours (6:00 pm).

04/14/2026: While the nation celebrates a big birthday this Summer, so does our department this Fall- 130 YEARS of service. We have yard signs available to mark the occasion and they are now available to the public at a cost of $15 each/two for $25. Call and stop at the station to get yours.
