ACCIDENTS AND FLUID SPILLS START AUGUST

08/05/2025- 2208 hours: Company 3 to West Baltimore Street at Jefferson for a pedestrian accident. Fire Police worked traffic control, Squad 3 provided lighting and EMS obtained a transport refusal before turning the scene over to Greencastle Police.

08/04/2025- 1627 hours: Crews responded to the Interstate 81 Exit 5 northbound off-ramp for a fluid spill, applying absorbent to reduce the hazard.

08/04/2025- 1447 hours: RHC to the area of Buchanan Trail East at Grindstone Hill Road for a vehicle accident, arriving to two autos on the shoulder. EMS transported one to Meritus Medical Center and Fire Police remained to assist Pennsylvania State Police.

08/01/2025- 1226 hours: Company 3 and Washington County 13 responded to Mason Dixon Road- in the area of Williamsport Pike- for fluid on the roadway. Crews secured travel lanes, applied absorbent to limit spread and staged while PennDOT used sand to cover the hazard.
