Fire safety demonstrations, emergency medical displays, local and County agency information exchanges and helicopter walk-arounds (mission dependent) will take place until 2:00 pm. 10/02/2026- 1000 hours: RHC leadership attended a meet and greet with representatives from Senator Dave McCormick's office, Representative Chad Reichard, Antrim Township Supervisors and Ghostwriter grant services to discuss alternate funding ideas and opportunities for our emergency services operation. 10/02/2026- 0800 hours: RHC was invited to participate in the Grand Opening of the Antrim Township Wawa store, located on Grindstone Hill Road at Buchanan Trail East. As part of the event, Fire/EMS and law enforcement personnel squared off in a "Hoagies for Heroes" hoagie making contest. 09/24/2026- 1300 hours: Our personnel were honored to host U.S. Representative Dr. John Joyce. During the visit, the Congressman and his staff took a brief tour of our facility and had a conversation about the many challenges surrounding rural firefighting and emergency medical services. 09/18/2026- 1030 hours: RHC and Washington County, MD responders were alerted for a motorcycle accident on Interstate 81 near the 1/2 mile marker southbound. Arriving to a motorcycle into the median cable barriers, personnel provided treatment and packaging for the rider and established a landing zone on the roadway for LifeNet 8-1. Squad and Fire Police then assisted Pennsylvania State Police and PennDOT to remove the vehicle and re-open the lane restriction. 09/17/2026- 15

09/17/2026-0539 hours: Units responded to Interstate 81 northbound at mile marker 5.5 for a single vehicle incident with rollover. 09/18/2026: The Rescue Hose Company No. 1 of Greencastle, PA- through the Antrim Township Board of Supervisors- has been awarded a $250,000.00 grant through Pennsylvania's statewide Local Share Account (LSA) program. LSA funding consists of gaming revenue collected by the Commonwealth from casinos and related gaming activity. 09/05/2026- 0830 hours: Crews were out early on Saturday to support the Mayor's 9/11 Walk of Unity and honor those lost on 9/11/2001. Community members and organizations, law enforcement, fire/emergency medical services and elected officials joined the procession to the Veterans Memorial to remember the civilians, military, first responders and emergency services personnel who died and those that have since suffered. 09/01/2026- 0201 hours: Squad 3, Car 3 and Ambulance 3-9 to 3450 Buchanan Trail West for a vehicle accident with rollover. Arriving to a single auto on its roof in the roadway- all occupants out- crews mitigated hazards and set-up traffic control while EMS transported one. 08/30/2026- 2105 hours: RHC and Company 9 ambulance responded to the 3100 block of Hill Road for a single vehicle accident- auto into a utility pole. 08/23/2026- 0312 hours: RHC responded for a personal injury collision with rollover and wires down in the 800 block of Buchanan Trail East. 08/11/2026- 2338 hours: Alerted for a personal injury collision reported with entrapment- vehicle into a house- crews responded to the 300 block of West Baltimore Street and arrived to the roadway blocked, heavy damage to the residence and identified occupants for EMS. With law enforcement assistance, the driver and residents were checked, hazards addressed and the building cleared. 08/04/2026- 1725 hours: RHC responded to the 11800 block for a vehicle accident with rollover, arriving to a single auto in the roadway- occupant self-extricated. Units cleared in twenty minutes with no EMS transport.
