INVESTIGATION AND MVA
09/18/2026- 1030 hours: RHC and Washington County, MD responders were alerted for a motorcycle accident on Interstate 81 near the 1/2 mile marker southbound. Arriving to a motorcycle into the median cable barriers, personnel provided treatment and packaging for the rider and established a landing zone on the roadway for LifeNet 8-1. Squad and Fire Police then assisted Pennsylvania State Police and PennDOT to remove the vehicle and re-open the lane restriction.
09/17/2026- 1556 hours: Crews from Company 3 and Washington County Companies 13 and 27 to 713 Rutherford Drive for the investigation of an odor inside. Quickly locating the cause and determining no hazard, units cleared in fifteen minutes.
