MULTIPLE CRASHES TO END THE MONTH
08/30/2026- 2105 hours: RHC and Company 9 ambulance responded to the 3100 block of Hill Road for a single vehicle accident- auto into a utility pole. Fire Police secured the travel lanes while Squad 3 and Engine 3-2's team worked with EMS to package two patients- one transported by LifeNet 8-1 to Hershey and the other to Meritus Medical Center- and mitigated hazards before returning to service in one hour.
08/27/2026- 1948 hours: Crews alerted to the 8000 block of Browns Mill Road for a vehicle accident, arriving to a single auto off the roadway and one occupant self-extricated. Ambulance 3-9 transported to Chambersburg Hospital and- after checking hazards and clearing debris- units returned to service in about forty minutes.
08/26/2026- 1415 hours: Company 3 and Medic 23-31 responded for a personal injury collision at the intersection of Buchanan Trail West and Lindale Avenue. Crews arrived to two vehicles blocking the eastbound lane, established scene control and assisted EMS with occupant packaging/removal. Units cleared in twenty-five minutes.
