Morning Education and an Evening Accident
09/24/2026- 0800 hours: Members from the RHC and other local agencies attended a show-and-tell / kindergarten open house at the Greencastle Primary School. Students attending got to hear and see how our company operates and the equipment we use, however it is unclear who learned more - them or us! Thank you to the GASD for the invite!
09/24/2026- 1702 hours: Crews from the RHC, along with an ambulance from Washington County, MD, responded to a motorcycle accident in the area of Williamsport Pike and Shanks Church Road. Responding apparatus quickly secured the roadway and treated one patient who was transported to a local hospital. Fire Police remained on-scene until the roadway could be re-opened, returning to service in approximately 1 hour.
