COLLISION, FLOODING AND CREW RECOGNITION

06/10/2025- 1930 hours: At the June Company meeting, RHC Staff and volunteers were awarded Pre-Hospital Delivery Commendations from the Emergency Health Services Federation for their work on 05/14/25. Crews responded to a Borough residence for obstetrics early that morning with delivery complete before mother and newborn were removed and transported to Chambersburg Hospital.

06/10/2025- 0020 hours: Following sustained heavy rain, units were alerted for a water rescue in the 400 block of South Antrim Way- auto stuck in high water. Company 3 and Greencastle Police secured all travel lanes, confirmed the northbound occupants were not in distress and stood-by as the vehicle was moved from the hazard. After thirty minutes and with water levels receding, fire department units cleared.

06/06/2025- 2107 hours: RHC responded to the 300 block of West Baltimore Street for a personal injury collision involving a motorcycle. Crew assisted EMS with patient packaging for transport to Meritus Medical Center and Fire Police maintained scene control until vehicles involved were moved out of the roadway.
