03/12/2024- 1418 hours: Squad 3 responded to assist Company 9 (Mercersburg) with a shed fire at 11674 Hunter Road, Montgomery Township. Command 9 reduced the assignment with Squad 3 then alerted (1427 hours) to assist with an auto accident reported with entrapment in the area of 6078 Steele Avenue, Peters Township. Crew worked with Rescue Engine 9 to gain access/remove the confined occupant for EMS, returning to service in twenty minutes.
03/13/2024- 1515 hours: RHC responded to 1028 Buchanan Trail East for a brush fire, arriving to two acres involved and approaching several buildings. Engine Tanker 3 and Brush units from Washington County Companies 27 and 9 were then added, with fire contained in forty-five minutes. Last units cleared at 1655 hours after mop up and equipment retrieval.
03/14/2024- 1502 hours: While Engine 3-1 handled a transfer to Washington County Company 9, Squad 3 responded to Walmart Fulfillment Center, Intermodal Avenue for an elevator rescue. Crew made access to the stalled car and helped its occupants to exit.
03/16/2024- Company 3 to 111 North Carlisle Street for an auto fire, arriving to a well-involved car parked in front of The Laundry Spot. After extinguishing and overhauling the vehicle, crew quickly departed to assist EMS with a possible landing zone behind the fire station with Fire Police and Greencastle Police remaining.
