LEAKING GAS AND MVAS

06/13/2025- 1614 hours: Company 3 alerted for an auto accident at the State Line and Hollowell Church Roads intersection. With both vehicles involved off the roadway, units assisted EMS, confirmed no hazards were present and provided traffic control. Ambulance 3-8 transported to Meritus Medical Center and Fire Police remained to assist Pennsylvania State Police. Utility 3 cleared at 1710 hours.

06/12/2025- 2335 hours: RHC to the intersection of Buchanan Trail West and Grant Shook Road for a vehicle accident, locating a single auto into the guardrail on Grant Shook. Crew secured the vehicle and provided scene support while EMS transported one to Meritus Medical Center

06/12/2025- 0832 hours: Crews responded to the 300 block of Tyrone Street in Greencastle for a natural gas leak, arriving to an active leak after the underground line was struck during excavation. Personnel established perimeters, metered the area and staged until the pipe was secured bu Columbia Gas and the contractors, clearing in sixty minutes.
