NEW MONTH BUT STILL GOING TO FIRES

02/17/2026- 0527 hours: Engine 3-2 alerted for a house fire- 14104 Cearfoss Pike, assisting Washington County Company 13. On scene for two hours, crews performed searches and ventilation before returning to service.

02/08/2026- 1735 hours: Engine 3-1 responded for a dwelling fire at 13013 Pine Hill Drive in Washington County, MD. Crews worked for 2.75 hours before going available.

02/02/2026- 1911 hours: Units from RHC and Washington County responded to Interstate 81 southbound at mile marker 3.5 for a vehicle fire, arriving to fire in the rear wheels of a semi-tractor extending to the attached trailer. Personnel extinguished that fire, accessed and applied water to a small area in the interior of the box trailer before clearing.

02/02/2026- 1526 hours: Company 3 assisted Company 9 (Mercersburg) with a reported barn on fire at 11037 Mercersburg Road, Montgomery Township. Crews worked suppression, overhaul and overhaul on the large detached building before returning to service in 2.5 hours.
