OHW GOES OUT WITH A BANG

08/08/2025- 1300 hours: Fire and EMS crews attended the Fun Fair at the Playground, offering a chance to walk through an ambulance and fire truck, ask questions and learn more about fire prevention and safety.

08/08/2025- 2030 hours: Units stood by for the Old Home Week fireworks display at the Greencastle-Antrim School District campus. Crews staged in two ignition areas with another in the woods at Tayamentasachta for the duration of the show. Additional personnel provided medical and lighting support, then checked adjacent areas for any misfires or remaining hot spots before clearing.

With multiple events in various locations around the first-due each day, programs on the Square each night all while needing to continue providing service to our area- THANK YOU to EVERYONE that stepped up this week. For all the fire, emergency medical and fire police personnel that spent HOURS on these assignments- if you haven't heard it enough already, know we appreciate each and every one of you.
