10/08/2022: With responses to more than twenty miles of Interstate 81 and several other busy roadways- with daily vehicle counts constantly increasing- we have equipped the majority of our fleet with Haas Safety Cloud- a collision prevention service that connects emergency lights with navigation application and systems. Drivers can receive advanced warning alerts through Waze app and Apple Maps whenever they approach our units when the emergency lights are engaged. These alerts are designed to give drivers more time to comply with Pennsylvania's Move Over law. This service is also activated with newer model vehicles equipped with FordSync, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Chrysler and Alfa Romeo through a partnership with Stellantis. While finalizing the configurations and operation, when you see apparatus in the field, please obey all traffic laws to ensure everyone- including our responders- gets home safely!
