10/08/2022- 1000 hours: LOTS happening THIS SATURDAY (10/08) from 10:00 am to 2: 00 pm at the fire station- 842 South Washington Street. In addition to fire and emergency medical displays, learning stations, activities, building and apparatus tours, fire truck rides and games, there will be free hot dogs and MIKIE'S ICE CREAM. SAM'S FAMOUS (at least in these parts) CHICKEN will be available for purchase during the event too- $10.00 for a dinner, $9.00 for a chicken half. There will be balloon and tattoo artists and face painting, Penn State Nursing students providing blood pressure screenings, Police K-9 demonstration, Franklin County Rehab Unit 6, Franklin County Department of Emergency Services, Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firefighter Association and the Responder Safety Institute, Pennsylvania State Police and County Drug Task Force displays. LIVE radio broadcasts with MIX 95.1, WQCM 94.3 and WRGG 93.7! Weather and mission permitting, medical helicopters will also be on site at 10:00 and 12:30 hours. STOP IN AND SEE US..
