05/22/2023- 1931 hours: Company 3 responded to the area of 17202 Castle Hill Road to assist Washington County Company 13 (Maugansville) with an aircraft incident. First arriving units located a personal use powered parachute aircraft near a grass landing strip and reduced the assignment. Upon clearing, it was determined the incident was located in Pennsylvania and Engine 3-1 updated Franklin County for required notifications.
05/23/2023- 2313 hours: RHC and WC Company 13 responded to Interstate 81 southbound near mile marker 3 for a personal injury collision, arriving to a single auto in the median after it struck wildlife. Crews checked for hazards and determined no transports were required before clearing in about twelve minutes.
05/24/2023- 1318 hours: Personnel established and staffed a landing zone for air medical transport from an EMS incident to the rear of the fire station. LifeNet 8-1 loaded the patient but was unable to complete. Engine 3-1 worked with Ambulance 3-7 and WellFlight 28 for transport execution.
05/25/2023- 1858 hours: Company 3 and 17 (New Franklin) responded to 2040 Phillippy Road, Antrim Township for an odor of gas in the residence. Teams metered the building with no odor or hazards noted.
05/26/2023- 1523 hours: Box 3-13 alerted for an electrical fire in the dwelling, 15125 Glade Terrace. Personnel located an overheated receptacle and confirmed no extension to the adjacent area before returning to service in twenty-five minutes.
