05/28/2023- 0805 hours: Units responded to 3241 Enoch Brown Road for a dwelling on fire, arriving to heavy fire and smoke from multiple parts of the residence. Crews initially put hand lines in service for suppression but were forced to withdraw by deteriorating interior conditions. While the bulk of the flames were knocked down in about thirty minutes, crews remained on scene for another 2.5 hours to perform salvage and extensive overhaul. The house sustained major damage. Two firefighters received minor injuries but did not require transport from the scene.
