TRASH, DWELLING, AUTO AND GAS LEAK END JUNE

06/30/2025- 0933 hours: Engine 3-2 responded for a natural gas leak in the area of 162 South Carlisle Street and located an active gas release caused by excavation on East Dahlgren Street. Crews secured traffic through the area and staged as Columbia Gas personnel secured the leak. Roadway was re-opened in twenty minutes.
06/27/2025- 1055 hours: RHC to 7623 Valley View Lane for an auto fire, arriving to a well involved SUV. Units returned to service in forty-five minutes.
06/26/2025- 1900 hours: Personnel worked with ropes and associated equipment for this week's training session, including rigging high points and various hoisting configurations.
06/25/2025- 2141 hours: With other apparatus committed to the Conococheague Creek water rescue, Engine Tanker 3 responded to 8280 Hissong Road, Peters Township for a dwelling fire in Company 9's area. Personnel worked fire attack and overhaul until clearing the scene at 2315 hours.
06/24/2025- 0942 hours: Engine Tanker 3 assisted Washington County, MD units with a large vehicle fire on Interstate 81 northbound at mile marker 9. Crews encountered a smoldering fire in a semi hauling residential waste to Mountain View Reclamation in Montgomery Township. With unloading identified as the best extinguishment option, ET-3 coordinated with Chief 9 (Mercersburg) and followed the tractor-trailer to its final destination then supported operations there.
