12/04/2023- 0735 hours: Engine 3-1 to the area of 13882 Worleytown Road for a tree and wires down on the roadway. Crew was able to clear the branches and communications line from the travel lane before clearing.
12/04/2023- 1227 hours: Units from RHC, Marion and Wellspan responded for a vehicle accident with rollover/entrapment on Molly Pitcher Highway South near Milnor Road East. Crews arrived to all occupants out of the vehicle, assisted with patient packaging for one transport and checked for hazards- remaining on scene until family members were reunited with the non-transported occupants (about thirty minutes).
12/06/2023- 1718 hours: Crews responded to the intersection of East Baltimore and Washington Streets in Greencastle for a personal injury collision. Arriving to the roadway blocked, Squad 3 personnel mitigated fluids as EMS completed transport refusals and Fire Police established and staffed alternate traffic patterns until the vehicles were removed.
12/07/2023- 0146 hours: The 3-13 area assignment responded to 14349 Penn Dixie Lane for fire in an attached garage with extension in the dwelling. Personnel quickly contained the visible fire and checked all portions of the building for further damage. Although limited to a small area, challenges with access resulted in a reduced assignment remaining on scene for over ninety minutes.
12/07/2023- 1046 hours: Engine Tanker 3, Squad 3 and Engine 3-2 alerted to assist Company 27 (Long Meadow) and other Washington County units with a house fire at 14306 Marsh Pike. Crews arrived to fire showing from the attached garage and smoke in the dwelling, with RHC working water supply, overhaul and other assignments prior to clearing in about 1.5 hours. The importance of keeping doors closed was reinforced on this incident: check out the images of the door separating the garage from the house with heavy heat exposure on the garage facing side and limited damage on the interior side.
