BRUSH, CRASH and a FIRE

09/14/2025- 1412 hours: Engine Tanker 3 and Engine 3-2 assisted Company 9 with a garage on fire at 10117 Knob Road, Montgomery Township. Arriving units confirmed heavy fire with extension to a near-by mobile home. Crews worked suppression and overhaul of both buildings before returning to service in 1.5 hours.
09/14/2025- 0915 hours: Responding to Guitner and Stone Bridge Roads for a personal injury collision, first arriving crews confirmed two vehicles head-on with one on fire. Bystanders removed one occupant before fire department arrival. Squad 3 and Engine 8-1 worked with EMS, extinguished the auto fire, mitigated run off from the scene to a near-by drainage culvert and notified Antrim EMA. Washington County Engine 13-3 staffed a landing zone for LifeNet 8-1 at Company 3, Ambulance 8-8 and Ambulance 18-9 transported to Meritus Medical Center.
09/13/2025- 1654 hours: RHC responded to the area of 11267 Grant Shook Road for a brush fire. Personnel were able to stop the fire- started from a controlled burn- as it spread to a near-by wooded area and complete mop-up, clearing in an hour.
