Several calls to close out the month:
02/28/2025-1352 hours: Engine 3-2 and Engine Tanker 3 assisted Company 9 (Mercersburg) with a detached garage fire at 9450 Garnes Road, Montgomery Township. With heavy fire throughout on arrival, crews worked suppression, overhaul and water supply before clearing in about one hour.
02/28/2025- 1008 hours: Box 3-18 alerted for a commercial building fire at AJ Pallet Company, 8642 Molly Pitcher Highway South. Arriving units located a smoldering fire in an exterior dust collection system, accessed the equipment and completed extinguishment. Exposures were monitored for extension and- finding none- last units cleared in sixty-eight minutes.
02/28/2025-0917 hours: Company 3 to the area of 855 Buchanan Trail East for a personal injury collision involving multiple autos. Crews checked hazards, assisted EMS and set-up traffic management at the four vehicle incident. Ambulances 3-7 and 3-8 transported to Meritus Medical Center while Ambulance 2-7 obtained several refusals.
