COMMERCIAL and MULTI-FAMILY BUILDING FIRES

03/13/2026- 0123 hours: Initially alerted for a transfer to HFD's Engine 4, Engine 3-1 responded on the second alarm to a multi-family building at 145 South Prospect Street in Hagerstown. Personnel assisted with fire containment/extinguishment for about two hours before returning to service.

03/04/2026- 2151 hours: Box 3-13 alerted for a commercial building fire at Martin's Farm Trucks- 15233 Molly Pitcher Highway South, Antrim Township. Arriving to smoke showing from the exterior, crews advanced a hand line to the interior and located a small fire with no apparent extension. After reducing the assignment, Company 3 and Washington Quint 27 completed overhaul and ventilation for thirty minutes before clearing.
