09/28/2025- 2253 hours: Box 3-04 alerted for a house fire- 329 South Ridge Avenue in Greencastle. Arriving units had smoke and fire from the attic vents with a resident using a green line from the second floor balcony to attempt containment. Crews placed hand lines in service and opened up the second floor ceiling in the area of origin to complete extinguishment and overhaul. After ventilating the building, units wrapped up operations in ninety minutes.
09/21/2025- 1544 hours: Units from Companies 3 and 8 responded to Interstate 81 northbound near mile marker 8 for a motorcycle and auto accident. Ambulance 3-8 with Medic 23-31 transported one occupant to Meritus Medical Center. Crews cleared the roadway and Fire Police remained to assist PSP, returning to service in thirty minutes.
09/17/2025- 2136 hours: Company 3 to Molly Pitcher Highway South and Pensinger Road for a personal injury collision. Arriving to two vehicles with all occupants out, personnel checked hazards and cleared debris before returning to service. EMS transported one to Meritus Medical Center from the incident.
09/15/2025- 1939 hours: RHC and Company 8 responded for a vehicle accident on Interstate 81 at mile marker 5, locating a single vehicle on its side after striking a tree on the Exit 5 northbound off-ramp. Crews stabilized the auto and assisted Pennsylvania State Police and Franklin County agencies for approximately two hours until the ramp re-opened.
