Join Greencastle Mayor Ben Thomas, Rescue Hose Company and Greencastle Police personnel, friends, family and residents for "A GATHERING, NEVER FORGET, WE REMEMBER" on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th.

The steps- 2,071- mimic the 110 stories of the World Trade Center climbed or descended on September 11, 2001 by fire, police, EMS and civilians resulting in thousands of lives being saved.
At 0900 hours, a moment of silence and remembrance will culminate the walk at the 60 N. Washington Street memorial.
D&S Bluegrass Band will highlight a free concert at the Jerome King Playground Band Shell beginning at 1400 hours (2:00 pm). Bring your lawn chairs and share an afternoon of music.
These events are to remember the events of September 11th, twenty one years ago..
those lives lost, those saved, those left behind and the many lost since- including the sacrifices of those who protect our freedom.
